Laura is an actress and singer-songwriter making her way in New York City. She was born in Houston, Texas and though she lived a few years in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, she was raised mostly in the suburbs of Dallas. She believes that balance and focus are keys to life. She is just as committed to honing her acting skills for camera and the stage as writing new songs and working on her vocal chops.

A quality quickly recognized in Laura is her unconquerable spirit; as she comes from a long line of hard workers and is passionate about everything she does. It is the same spirit that drove her to be not only an A student, but she was also involved in many extra-curricular activities including: singing in an acclaimed show choir that toured Europe, competing and excelling in several singing competitions, captain of the track team, competitor in Theatre/Speech tournaments (placing third in the state of Colorado for comedic duet acting), and President of the thespian guild in her high school. She was also the first student in her school to ever receive the double honor thespian award. After graduating with honors, she was recruited to attend the award winning Collin County Community College Theatre program on scholarship where she landed many supporting and leading roles earning numerous rave reviews and awards. Immediately after graduation, it is that same spirit that then urged her to move to New York City to take the plunge, follow her bliss, and fill her soul, diving into her acting career. While auditioning and landing roles in the city, Laura decided she wanted to further her education by earning a Bachelor of Fine arts degree at Hunter College. While continuing her education in English literature and theatre, Laura stumbled upon a new passion...songwriting. It was a chance meeting that led her to collaborate musically with singer-songwriter Gary Huff and give new life to her voice. After much composing, soul searching, and lyric writing she has recorded several demos of her original music and is now performing her tunes out and about at New York City's hottest music venues.

Laura is a talent whose dream is to share her blessings, to be of service, and to help make the world a better place. She is as comfortable in front of the camera as she is working with children and others in need. The human experience of acting is what makes her tick. She is a talent who is willing to push boundaries, enjoy the adrenaline, and savor each and every moment of the ride.
